For that reason, I have resisted placing my camera there too often. As a point of reference, if you've seen the photographs take from the compost pile, this location is further into the forest, but following along a trail that passes by the compost area, which is itself about a quarter of a mile from a seasonal road in an area we will be referring to as Petra, Maine. It is in the Saint John Valley of Aroostook County, in extreme northern Maine.
