
As you can see by the information recorded by the wildlife camera, below the photo of the black bear, we haven't had the high temperatures suffered by so much of the rest of the country. While most of the rest of the nation has been suffering from stifling heat and drought conditions this summer, it has rained at least every other day here in northern Maine. We went three days in a row without rain only once since the snow melted, and it is August 14th as I write this. We had a fierce thunderstorm this afternoon.
