Maine black bear

More than two hours have gone by since we last saw a black bear in this clearing, and I don't think this is the same bear. It could be, as they are roughly the same size and age, judging from the ears, but this bear looks different in ways that I can't put my finger on from the one that is usually here. Plus, I can't escape the wonder about the fascination with the marking tree if only one bear is doing all the marking.
