I moved my camera from the cedar swamp back to the compost pile, since it was clear to me that the bear was visiting the compost pile at least once a day. So far, the only camera location that he hasn't found is the cedar swamp. Walking through the cedar swamp, I don't see any bear sign either, so I don't think he goes there.
This series of photos begins with an eye shining in the dark at about two o'clock in the morning. The bear doesn't show up until shortly before eight o'clock in the evening. He doesn't stay long but we have some video of him.
