I moved the wildlife camera to a new location in the edge of the cedar swamp, which is in opposite end of the one hundred acres of Petra, Maine from the field where it was last located.

The camera sat at this location for  three whole days without taking a single photograph, or at least not one in which I could find an animal, and what we have here is a gray jay, also known as a Canadian jay or a gorby.

Anyone who has spent any time at all in a park in Maine or any other area where these birds reside has probably seen a gorby up close, as they are known for being quite the little beggars, even landing on a picnic table where people are eating, as if invited. They are cute, and they'll eat right out of your hand.
